Why you should do yoga...
While many think yoga is simply downward dog or doing the splits, the truth is, yoga helps people from all over the world with a variety of mental, physical and emotional challenges. It’s an opportunity to work with your body and explore what’s inside.
Why should you do it with me?
The long and the short of it is, I’ll meet you at your level, have you feeling comfortable about your journey and get you excited about your body. Ready to start?

Which kind class should you take?
Three types are available to choose from: group, semi-private and private. In each case, being mindful of safety and practicing with where your body is today, is the only expectation.
Group classes are either in a studio or other location suitable to such a practice. If attending class through a gym, fitness centre or studio, their rates apply. For my group rate outside a studio, five or more students are needed.
These are best suited for those with several classes under their belt and are lead primarily by verbal instruction with some demonstration at the front. See examples below.
Semi-private sessions are for those with 2-4 people looking to practice. Want a healthy way to bond with your partner? Or, ease into yoga slowly with a close friend or two before/after work? Whatever your preference, these classes are highly customizable. Some prefer building heat in a work-out style focus, others want a slow paced introspective time or simply a routine with verbal cues. Others enjoy a routine with their eyes closed while I guide them through a mental journey. Take a little time to identify what you feel is needed and make it known at the beginning of class.
If you’ve never tried yoga, or have a condition you want to address (such as back pain, stiff hamstrings, emotional tension etc.), a private class is what you’re looking for! Tailored specifically to your style, needs and preferences, we’ll work together in a way that has you feeling excellent in your body.
Before engaging in fitness activity ask your doctor, or health-care professional, if you are in good health to practice yoga. Those who are pregnant should find a yoga instructor qualified in pre-natal instruction. You will be required to sign a liability waiver before class, you may preview it below. A copy will be provided to you via email, after signing. For your safety, share all health conditions with the instructor before class starts.
