Solo Trip Abroad has three pillars: Work Mobile. Consume Local. Live Global. Today, we’ll talk about “Consume Local.”
Consume Local emphasizes the following:
Over the past few weeks, I’ve been reducing the products I consume, especially food. Diet is a particular struggle of mine. Besides not really knowing how to cook, I often consume unhealthy food which creates a significant amount of plastic waste. Thankfully, I’ve become increasingly aware of this and am making changes. The biggest so far, is soda!
Keeping reading to learn how I’m reducing waste and making better dietary choices by supporting local businesses, all of which are owned and operated by women!
