In the previous Consume Local post, Sustainability, we looked at improving my diet, for a number of reasons such as, supporting locals, eliminating processed foods, continuing not to drink soda and weening off meat.
Today, we’ll review my progress, look at why I’ve been putting off making food and what I’d like to do for the community here.

Consume Local emphasizes the following:
Over the past few weeks, I’ve been reducing the products I consume, especially food. Diet is a particular struggle of mine. Besides not really knowing how to cook, I often consume unhealthy food which creates a significant amount of plastic waste. Thankfully, I’ve become increasingly aware of this and am making changes. The biggest so far, is soda!
