Over the past seven weeks, the depth of my yoga improved dramatically. Consistent practice leads to increased flexibility, of course, but more importantly, it allows for better understanding of my intuition. There are days when my body is more opened up, others, less so.
Since going vegetarian, my body continues to change before my eyes. Now, it’s increasingly sensitive to what I eat. Here are five factors which determine my bodily openness, strength and lack of muscle stiffness — beyond diet.

The vast majority of you who know me, know that if you were describing me, “dancer” wouldn’t make the list. Understandably so. It’s not something I broadcast and rarely do with other people. Well, except one time in Nha Trang, Viet Nam where I was sandwiched between my date and a bunny (scroll to the second page after the beach photo).
When a travelling yogi reaches out to me on align432YOGA, we instantly get along and meet up. After hanging out at the beach, eating at a raw, organic cafe, doing great yoga classes and learning a new style — I can hardly contain myself. With a little assistance, I slip into the zone and realize I need to let out some energy.
I must express myself. Flow freely. Be like a child, without being childish. To lead with my heart.
So here I am, exploring a combination of yoga, dance and self-expression (but most yoga in this first video). No choreography, planning or prep. I toss on the tunes, press record and start. Watch the video below!
