Solo Trip Journal
Solo Trip Journal is a travelogue providing global living inspiration.
Written as a series, peaking inside a life of travel and living abroad.
Join subscribers from over twelve countries in four continents to see what life abroad is all about!
Why do I write Solo Trip Journal?
When I left Canada, none of my family had lived in or visited Asia. I had never been outside of North America and wanted to preserve the details of my travels — I knew once I left, I wouldn’t be back for years.
I started writing these updates to share what life abroad is really about. To show friends and family the world is a magical place if we have the faith to explore it. I want to look back and see my mentality during each trip. It’s about more than preserving beautiful sunsets, delicious food and trip highlights. I want to log my attitude to observe my personal evolution.
While the goal is to provide Global Living Inspiration, I aspire to achieve this by writing so vividly readers are teleported into another world. Are you ready to join me? Subscribe below and have updates sent right to your inbox!
Check out my Instagram and see for yourself the adventures I’ve been on. From Toronto to Vancouver to Beijing to Hong Kong to Singapore, to Ho Chi Minh to Phnom Penh to Phuket to Kuala Lumpur to Delhi! See my destinations, a map and summary in the Travel Log.
To learn a little backstory, read a few previous reports. 2017 was an incredible year. From yoga teacher training in the Indian Himalayas, camping on islands in Malaysia, exploring Hong Kong and motorcycle road trips in Viet Nam — it’s been an amazing time.
Seeing Solo Trip Journal evolve is a great encouragement. I work hard to portray my worldview; to captivate your attention and bring you into the moment!
